What we know
MD Anderson unveiled a $3.4 billion expansion at Fannin Street and Holcombe Boulevard in the Texas Medical Center on November 5, 2026. The 25-story, 1.4-million-square-foot Inspiration Tower is targeted for 2032 and the adjacent 292,000-square-foot Prism radiation oncology and diagnostic imaging center for 2030. The buildings will become a new main campus entrance and connect to surrounding facilities by skybridges. Funding includes institutional, UT System and philanthropic support; the construction start has not been confirmed.
